any ideas of where to meet, and how long it will take to get there from either Edinburgh or Glasgow? Seems to be a few from Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen going. I’d prefer to get there in time for some dinner on the Friday if possible - be good to get a few tips for my first proper track day!

Train stations located close to Donington Park include Loughborough (I would say nearest), Derby and Nottingham.
Derby has a direct line service to London St Pancras on Midland Mainline, Cardiff Central with Central Trains, Glasgow Central via Leeds, as well as Edinburgh, Newcastle, Bristol and Plymouth on Virgin Trains.
Nottingham also offers a direct service to London St Pancras through Midland Mainline as well as direct lines to Cardiff Central, Liverpool Lime Street, Lincoln and Leicester on Central Trains.
Loughborough has a direct line service to London St Pancras on the Midland Mainline and Lincoln with Central Trains.
