My brother has booked this in his 211 - asked if I want to drive a few laps - it would be rude not to
You lucky sod - if you feel like coming and looking after my kids and being with my Missus in case she goes into labour instead give me a shout and I’ll go to Donny for you
That’ll be a pass then

Ive got a 308 hire car next week
Mate if you’ve been slacking off all year don’t blame me, just pull yer finger out and stop fannying about
Sounds like Andy is gonna do some destruction testing on a 308 for you though
I saw a red 2-11 a few garages away from me, was it that one? I missed your post else I would have popped by.
It was a strange day. Within a minute of the track opening, an elise barely travelled 100yards and decide to park in Redgate’s gravel. Red Flag! It was dry for the start, then the rain came down till lunch, but everyone was fairly cautious with just a few yellow flag, but I didn’t see any further reds. The track dried up nicely after an early lunch. It was running fine until mid-afternoon, but then quite a few reds. It just wasn’t my day, of the 4 afternoon sessions I went out on, 3 was cut short (I barely had 10mins in each session) by red flag! I was low on petrol, but the on-site petrol station was shut. Decided I couldn’t be bothered to drive out for fuel again, and packed up and left at 4pm. Oh yes, I forgot to mention the queue to get out on track!! Maybe I’ve been spoilt with attending BAT days, but I think I will stick with BAT for the future. Roll on 10th Oct
Tom
Hi Tom
No it was the black yellow and silver one
Can’t argue that BAT organise things better
Unfortunately due to iffy weather whilst I was there decided not to drive it as I wouldn’t have been covered with insurance and after seeing the rather sorry looking black Exige S in the scrutineering bay I think maybe it was a wise decision
See you on the 10th
Simon
