Afternoon all

Am currently searching for my first S1 Exige. Does anyone know anything of interest about this one for sale at Lipscomb, previous history perhaps.

discussed here but it sounds a bit scathing; may be worth a look and a chat as I would have thought they might want to deal given how long they have had it (although it was through winter so maybe thats why it hasnt sold)

I wouldnt avoid it as such on the basis of that post; some people have higher expectations than others on the condition of an 8 year old used car.

The rotrex one was for sale on here last year at slightly less money. It looks like a monster

Hi Dan,

I am the guy who saw this one together with an English friend of mine, we were promised on the phone the looked fab. Well you’ve read my post. We agreed with the sales guy the car would have been in a much better nick, if it hadn’t been resprayed!!

We didn’t expect a car coming straight out off the brochure, but the paint really was very dissapointing
I was seriously interested as I allready had parted with a deposit whithout seeing it.

Haggling on the price wasn’t possible at that moment, but maybe 6 mths later someone has got second thoughts

The interiour looked ok, and engine should be fine as well.
