EP Quantums?
JSR Ohlins?
Randy Nitrons?
I know there is a lot of variation, but surely a bulk order would be good?

I think that the vast majority here have already got their’s sorted.
May be good to “piggyback” on any deals organised via Seloc, if/when they arise.
However, it’s always worth speaking with our own Dave Garthwaite @ Seriously Lotus or John Shorrocks @ JSR - know their stuff, excellent customer advice & service levels, & they are keen to do business with Exigers
There was a good deal on wheels. Week or so back , if you collect them !
And this is how to spell SUSPENSION
yeah I know, have been eyeing up Dave’s suspension refresh kit as mines approaching 40k now
The only think is is that there isn’t much mark up on dampers of this type, as Rob most people upgrade early on. Plus supension set upisa very personal thing, one mans heaven and all that.
yeah thought it worth an ask
I do love how suspention gets to be like a housing chain, people waiting for used lotus ohlins, people upgrading to 46mm whatevers
Buy my nitrons.
The thing to do is buy a refresh kit along with maybe some brake parts etc and a set of dampers and then haggle for a deal.
Sort of money talks bull s–t walks and all that
I’m sure I have seen someone on here is selling some nitrons, if you can track them down it might be worth dropping them a pm.
Please see two posts above this
ha ha ok, well once my cars back from chris tullett its off to TDi
However would like to get it sorted before angelsey.
What kinda milage do people do a ball joint refresh at?
Road miles or track miles ?
Refresh when worn … could be after 100 miles with some of the crap that is around
coming up to 40k, it’s been doing a few TDs a year for the last few years
Fix on fail…or at least inspect for wear and decide? Your wear rates may not equate to anyone elses.
Or you could read this:
Standards and Approaches for Ball Joint Durability
Testing
I replaced all mine when doing a Suspension refresh once, regardless of their condition as I thought that was sensible …
Well 3 of the brand new ones were actually worse than ones I had taken off with 25K miles on them !!
I dont know what the quality of the replacement parts is like these days but a few years ago it was a real hit or miss event …
