Needing new rear tyres very soon and as supply of the LTS’s is non-exisent can I make do with non LTS tyres?
Cheers

almost certainly but who really knows
Stick with the LTS tyres! Before I got my S2SC I had an S1 Exige, and from experience found that the LTS tyres offered far more grip than “normal” 48s. My 0-60 time went from 5.6 to 6.5 seconds with the wrong tyres.

The LoT race series uses M compound non-LTS 048’s and just about everyone on the grid has improved laptimes considerably vs the LTS tyres - they seem pretty unanimous in saying the grip is better. They are softer than the LTS.
Mine where Demon Tweeks what ever they had on the shelf jobbies. Be more careful than I was when ordering 48s.
Have you tried Plans Motorsport. They were holding a stock of LTS.
I got the last set sent from Plans yesterday I’m afraid.
As Shangani said, the M compound would probably offer more grip but who knows how long they would last compared to the already poor life you get from the LTS? I think they are a fair bit cheaper though.
