Hi Guys. I have a problem with the nearside dipped beam. Thought initially it was just a blown bulb but after having changed it and tested the old bulb that is not the issue. The fuse is fine and there is power getting to the fuse but not to the headlight bulb connector. I can hear relays clicking when I operate the switch so I presuming that is not the fault. The bulb in the dipped beam press switch is out and has been for a while. As I don’t drive the car very often I am unsure whether this is related or occured at the same time. I tried to buy a replacement bulb for the switch but after taking the switch out it is sealed and not possible. I rang the dealers up and you have to buy the 3 switch assembly at a cost of 42 which I don’t want to do if this is not root cause of the fault. Has anyone come across a similar fault? Tried a search on the board with no luck. Your help and advice would be welcome guys.

Whats going on with this post? I was hoping for some input to help me solve my lighting problem
I was just waiting for the 3 of you to get a room.
And in that scenario, I reckon you better off with the lights out, with Pesky being involved!!
Did you ever get your your dipped beam issue resolved? I have exactly the same symptoms and would like to resolve tonight to get the MOT’d for the weekend.
Support appreciated
Check the earth to the bulb
I have checked the earth which has continuity back to the main earth, fuse, bulb, voltage at the fuse is ok. The indicator lamp on the dipped beam button is also not working. The offside dipped beam is ok?
Having read other posts and looking at the wiring diagram it would appear to be the Switch Pack Module?
I’m replacing mine today Julian, 71 + VAT from dealer, but quite easy DIY replacement, it seems, have a look at my thread on here, Peapod has provided some helpful info.
I’ll post on herre later to let you know if it resolves my light problems, I had no side, rear or fog lights.
Dave
Yep, fixed my probs, not too difficult to replace, nuts holding switch pack module flumoxed me for a while, till I realised they were fixed and you have to unscew the small screws from underneath.
Took just over an hour.
All lights working as they should.
Yes it was the same for me, changed the switch pack module and that resolved it.
