is that bodywork dimensions or the actual track? and do you know what they relate to? outside of wheel rims or tyre ??
marc.
Actual track - which is always measured to the middle of the tyre
many thanks
Any idea how to work out what the rear wheel offset would be if i fit S2 elise wishbones to the rear of an S1 Exige to keep the same track ?
I think rear wishbones could possibly be the same dimensions on all K series Elises/Exiges, it’s the front wishbones and different uprights/hubs that account for the different offsets of wheel.
Sorry for the hijack, but what is the maximum width of a S1 Exige? I need to know so my wife doesn’t try to get a quart into a pint pot (or scrape an Exige driving it into the garage!)

…ask SeanB
PM’d him. I’m sure there’s an “in” joke there though!
Hi mate, off the top of my head I don’t know. Mine is quite a bit wider than standard, so it’s not like I have one I can measure. Sorry.
sorry that was not very helpful.
I remembered that an old friend of exiges Mark Mailer put some specs on his website,…and I found them :
I wonder how Mark is getting on? I’ve never heard from him since he sold up to go MR2 racing?
Thanks Benja, that’s appreciated. I can conclude it will fit and am very pleased about that. Sean, I look forward to seeing your car as I’m wondering how you’ve added width!
