Dilemma...

I had the pleasure ( some may question this ) of Andy D’s company last weekend and he seems very happy with his import experience, albeit protracted.
I had a year in the 'Gong. Loved it. You’re very fortunate, enjoy it. Cardiology at Illawarra Regional Hospital, top of Crown St and then a stint in Shellharbour.

Renting in Coledale by the beach but shortly moving to an apartment in ‘The Gong’.

Yup, Andy D introduced me to SSC and they have the import business all sorted now. All up I think it will cost me about £ 12k or so…

Having grown up in OZ, I STILL cannot believe how amazing the weather has been for the last year. In fact, I think the last time it rained was when I went to Wakefield Park to see Andy on a track day!!!

£12k would be returned in spade loads should you ever sell the car in Oz.
Do miss the weather/ the wine/ the civilised way of life, oh , and Trangs the Vietnamese at the bottom of Crown St!

Hi Pete

I faced a similar situation a few months ago. I decided that since I was going to be over in Slovakia for a couple of years that it made sense to sell the Honda Exige.

Now I’ve discovered that I live next to the epi centre of closed road hill climbs in eastern Europe! I sat on the side lines at the weekend thinking how much fun I was missing out on :frowning: although I did get to hear a Group B S1 Quattro go past

As I drove to work over the summer weeks in 30degC and sunshine in my VW people carrier I questioned what I’ve done.

So…don’t do it! Take it with you. Especially since it’s in our favourite colour of choice

…or you’ll spend every evening like me on Pistonheads looking for another one! (LHD preferably)

Nice decision to have, but a tough one too.

I would seriously wave a (few!) handful of notes your way IF I had a triple garage!

D’OH!!! I did try!!!
Come on over to HU for a weekend or I can drive over in the Evora, I just put the winter tyres on :sunglasses:
