decent lap time around anglesey

No reason why you can’t get the Elise to handle. Get some decent shocks/springs/setup. You won’t have the extra downforce of the Exige although you could claim back some by fitting a splitter/spoiler/diffuser. The standard Exige setup is better than the standard Elise but neither of them are particularly great.

I hope I can get the Erise to perform it feels really nice I wondered about the downforce and the wing looks easy enough to fit but not sure about the front splitter looks hard

link to a fairly poor quality video of the 51:88 lap at anglesey when I get a min I will upload a better one

Maidstone’s eRise is shed loads quicker than my Exige around a circuit with Nitrons, stiffer springs, better setup. It still doesn’t have the high speed stability but that can be addressed too. Maybe you should give them a call and see how much it it for them to copy their setup onto your car?

the car currently has gaz shocks on and rides well but I havent tried it on track yet
they were on the car when I got it and I have the sheets with all the set up info
I have not come across them on an Elise before

What make are they?

Sorry, didn’t read your post properly, thought you said gas not gaz. Not heard of them before. Do they seem any good?

yes they feel solid more than the exiges did
but I liked the feel of the exige suspension and I had got used to the slight roll
Cant wait to get it on track to get a real feel
