Thinking about fitting a De cat pipe but am concerned it’s going to make my car even louder. S2 supercharged with stage 3 exhaust and it’s pretty loud already.
Also any recommendations on which pipe to get and has anyone fitted one and had problems with the emission light?

Mine has stage 3 and TRD airbox and i was considering a de-cat a while back also.The car sounds awesome as it is though to be honest and ive heard good and bad reviews of de-cat’s on s/c car’s, so i decided not to bother.
Id be surprised if you didnt get a static mil light with any de-cat on our cars.

I’m convinced that my hearing has got worst due to owning loud cars over the last 10 years. Not sure my neighbors appreciate it much either.
So, seems to be a mixed opinion on the de cat. Save the money and put it towards some new brakes. 
Silenced de cat yes I have been thinking about it myself but no way a std de cat, it would be far too loud.

Don’t get a decat pipe. It will soil the rear of your car badly, especially if you drive it hard.
My big bore 2bular manifold decat and backbox isn’t THAT loud. Never get any soot up the rear either. to be honest the noise out the end of the pipe depends a lot on the size of the back box and end tip.
