Have you even been out for a drive ( not within the last two days ) and you have removed the key but the dash reilluminated with the miles et al on display?

Fixed it!
There are two fuses in a cluster near the ECU. One fuse is for the immo.
Removed that , gave it a magic rub and reseated all the fuses.
Works perfectly now.

Handy lads, you lot! I tried and failed to fix a neighbour’s lawnmower today. 
I have two tools in my tool box.
- a hammer
- a bigger hammer for when the other hammer wont fix it
I applied a socket to a nut securing the mower cutting blade and failed to shift it. I had to tell my single mum neighbour she needed “a new flange”
I await developments
