Bloody terrorists If Osama Bin Laden actually owns a car I wonder what car he actually owns?

Nah for what its worth, my money would be on something like a Mercedes-Benz Adenauer .

Camel Trophy went there in 1994 - it looked like ideal territory.

I think Iceland should also put a bid in, different type of desert, but desert nonetheless. They could then do a prologue in Scotland asnd I could get a chance to see all those bikes, cars and best of all trucks.

Wasnt the 1994 Camel the one where they had to dig their own roads out of mud?

Hehe, just watched the 1994 one, and it was just the Paraguay bits that were epically muddy.

On the other hand you can see why the Atacama would be a good place for a rally, but to be honest, I love, love, love, love, love the idea of an African rally and South America doesnt really provide that - personally, the only way I can see Dakar as we know it happening next year, is if they do like they did in 03 and run it from Marseille to Sharm El Sheikh or the like.

PS. God that Amazon one was awesome!!!
