quote:Originally posted by Admin5:100 !?!That’s a bargain…Where do I send my cheque ?How easy is it to fit ?Yep, it really is a BARGAIN!!!Fitting - dead easy, provided you can get a 6mm socket on the fastening bolts - access to a ramp would make the job miles quicker! Probably takes 1/2 to 3/4 hour to fit. Looks like you’ll soon be owing Mr Drought a curry & a beer!!!

MinimanThey are satin black anodised aluminium. They are a direct replacement for the original twin vane "diffuser/engine undertray, so no problemo with heat [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/grin.gif[/image]

If I read the page first I wouldn’t have asked such dumb questions [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/blush.gif[/image]OK I want one NOW ! [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/grin.gif[/image] Just the anodising was gonna be 30 quid …Steve & Martin you have my cheque on Saturday ( can you bring one ! )Andrew

It doesn’t look like it’s very hard to shift these, after all, they are darn sexy, but could somebody please provide enough sexy aero nonsense (I assume it has some) for me to sell it to the wife. [I’ll do it anyway but enjoy it more if she doesn’t frown at it every time I come home!]Ian [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/smile.gif[/image]ps. If I pick one up at Anglesey will it fit in the car? Or will I have to post it home?!!

hi ya,back from good old Romania…hmmm, it looks cool…very tempting…what a shame that I can’t come along to Anglesey…Rob, when do you get your re-spray then?regarding my oil consumption problem…it seems that Dave has found the cause. the piston liners were not honed…he thinks that this is costing me 5-10% of power… [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/grin.gif[/image] [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/grin.gif[/image] [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/grin.gif[/image] [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/grin.gif[/image]that means another head off job and UK-trip is due next year with a visit to Emerald as well… [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/grin.gif[/image] [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/grin.gif[/image] [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/grin.gif[/image]Bruno

Ian et alAlthough I may be wrong, I don’t think that Martin & Steve have a stock of the diffusers. They made an initial batch of 5 or 6, which are all sold, as far as I know.No doubt Martin/Steve will confirm the present position, & indicate the expected delivery/lead time for new orders. The theory is that the diffuser causes the air underneath the car to “speed up” before/upon exit, which increases the ground effect i.e the car sticks to the tarmac better! Whether this actually works on our cars, I don’t know, bearing in mind that for practical purposes the diffuser is much higher off the ground than those fitted to race cars. Anyway, who cares whether or not the ground effect is greater - they look the biz [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/grin.gif[/image]

I keep asking myself why do the Girlfriend’s / Wife’s not like this car ?I can only think that it is because we spend so much time washing, looking, rubbing (I mean waxing) and playing with the car it must be jealousy[This message has been edited by SPEEDY (edited 23 September 2002).]

Hi Everbody! We Have realised that the diffusers seam to be causing a bit of a stir!!So here is the info. We have no stock, the diffusers are made to order in batches of 6 off or multiples of to minimise cost and maximise material, therefore we need 6 firm orders or multiples of prior to manufacture. Delivey should be 2/3 weeks from receiving 6 orders. A 50 deposit (or full payment of 100) is required with your order, balance to be paid on delivery/collection (delivery costs will be extra). Diffusers are made from 1.6mm aluminium with satin black anodised finish (you could paint onto the anodising if you wanted a different colour). All relevent fixing holes are pre cut and kit includes spacers to give clearance from the bodywork. You do not need to make any mods to your car to fit this. If you are intrested or require any more information then e-mail us on [email protected] P.S. We will see some of you at Anglesey on the 28th sept.(with deposits we hope!)Martin & Steve.

Pesky,Nice wheels. Are they the originals, but with the paint stripped off? Kevin.
