Who is the actual insurer please?
Hill climbing is competitive, so a higher risk than a TD. One off TD insurance can be pricey too, better to get a road policy with a few TD’s included in the cover (5 or so usually).
Great thread guys as my Exige insurance is due.
Been renewing with HT for years but gone up to about £400. Manning was very competitive, but gone with Steve Edwards suggestion (Routen Chaplin insurance brokers). £255 with £250 excess and agreed valuation. No track day cover but Exige wont be going on track anyway.
Result
I’ve just renewed with Reis, £381 all in for my S1, including 6x trackdays and £1000 spares/tools cover. I did get a quote from Manning based on this thread but it was nearly double!
Manning here for the past few years. Really good. Easy to deal with, as above.
They also do ‘Agreed Value’ too once you provide the usual pics and valuation letter from a specialist.
(Underlying insurer they used for me was MS Amlin)
Just had my renewal quote from AIB for 10k miles is £630
