The rev counter in my Exige S starts from zero as you would expect. I’ve been told the current model’s rev counter starts at 4k.

Anyone know if this is correct. Do/Did any Exige models have a rev counter starting from 4k?

My new n/a starts at zero, its just that the scale is compressed for the first few thousand revs.

Is the current “S” the same? (Mine’s an August 2006)

Should be.

All cars with drive-by-wire (2006+) have the “compressed” rev-counter. All earlier version have a linear one.
