Did anyone see it? Fantastic piece of kit.
Sat in it and loved it. Made me think twice about the Exige S order I have just placed.
I have asked them to call me to see if I can add the front cage added to my order

More weight
Nice till you ask about the price.
More weight
More power
And who can help with that?
That’s not a reflash though is it? Its an ECU swap out.
A reflash option for more power would be more warranty friendly. Is that not possible.
It is a reflash, the ECU is not replaced.
It does however change the intercooler which is a bit of a give away. Great conversion though.
How are they flashing it|?
I thought it wasn’t possible to flash the Toyota. Through the diagnostic port?
Come on Damon…stop fishing! - you know that Lotus are going to be able to reflash them!
OK Dave
I am trying to identify methods for reflashing the S2 ECU as I am going to develop a series of remaps for the S2 Exige and Elises.
Ive ordered the S2 to be my companys project car.
If anyone has any info/help on the reflashing side get in touch.
Damon
for those of us that don’t know what’s your company called and what do they do?
Simtis Motorsport Solutions
We develop ECU solutions for race teams and road cars.
We have cars running in FIA GT, British GT, AMLS and Rolex series. We have a modest network of resellers and will be expanding that network in 2008.
I will be developing code for all the S2 series, so if anyone wants to participate please get in touch.
Nice one - good luck with the Lotus work.
There are at least three commercial operations that are offering relashed ECUs.
Lotus Sport who offer relashes for the NA car.
These change the CAM change point and improve midrange drivability.
Sector 111 in the US who offer a couple of different maps for the NA, and their Gotham 265 for the S.
Komotec, who also have a variety of maps for the NA, and for the S, resulting in the Turbodrive 250, and the 250S and 280S. For more details on these in the UK speak to Greg at Hangar 111.
I don’t know exactly how they are doing it, but it can be done.
