Cullmann Camera Mount

Been looking for a camera mount for a while now and just got this one delivered next day 30 ‘all in’ from Jessops. Seems very well made and fells like you could hang a body from a tall glass building with it…but I just want it for a camera…honest…

you need the Manfrotto superclamp with the camera stud

trackday organisers are getting funny about suction camera mounts, best to go for the clamp

just ordered a superclamp with stud 20 + vat + postage
you also get 10% discount if you put Seloc in the discount code box

FM! this thing is stronger than any other part on the fecking car

try telling them that

are they tense about internally mounting or externally? I was only thinking of using it inside…???

I have a bullet cam stuck to the dash with velcro linked to an archos mpeg4 hard disc recorder located in the footwell very neat install in and out in a matter of seconds, used it last year on a trip to tuscany came in very helpful when getting nicked for speeding coming out of the mont blanc tunnel!

Both, but not all don’t allow it, normally they like them to be bolted

if you are Racing, it won’t pass scrutineering if it has a suction

on track, if you have velcro fixing your bullet cam, you need to fix it in another way ie Duck tape aswell

me racing nahhh trackdays when I can afford

Never had any trouble with it RE coming loose during the fastest cornering(it is in the car not outside)

I don’t make the rules, its what you need to pass scrutineering

I totally agree, there is no way velcro would come undone if fitted properly

anyone using bullet cams and if so what mounting system are you using?

Currently thinking that this might be the best:

from FAST FILMS

but also quite like the simplicity of this:

[image]http://www.onbike.tv/products/flat_surf_mount.jpg[/image]

Measuring only 1" X 3" (75 X 32mm), this all-rubber mount features a flat base which allows you to easily mount your bullet camera on any flat surface. The bullet camera slides into the rubber mount, resting on tiny dampers which act similar to a suspension system. This ensures a jitter-free image at all time, even under the harshest conditions from ONBIKE.TV

and this one looks like it could be useful for several different mounting positions:

I’ve been using a headband designed for skiing with the camera, and mounting it around the passengers headrest. Sounds a bit rough, but its worked on 4 outings so far. See "bullet Camera Head-band on this page

For this year I’m going for a bit of an upgrade. At the Autosport show I bought one of the flat panel mounts with suction cups from Goldstar Racecam. See the bottom of this page

Quite like this from Goldstar but can’t see how it pivots between the rollbar mount & the bullet camera clamp:
