I have a set of luke 4 point harnesses and although my car is almost exclusively used on the road I have got used to them and now wouldnt be without them.
Question is this, can I add a 5th strap to stop them riding up my gut when I tighten them up? There is the hole in the buckle but was wondering if there is a suitable mouting point under the probax seat?
The alternative with drilling holes is to fit a pair of eye bolts in the rear extrusion, they thread into spreader plates underneath the car. They need to be fitted well back to give good travel of the seat.
Haha, fair point Pete. I’m just finding that I cant tighten them up quite enough to hold me in the seat. Damn things just get pulled higher up instead.
I wonder if the lower 2 anchor points could be moved slightly to improve it?
Have a chat with Malcom at MSAR about the sense of the 5th belt…!
The 4 point ASM harnesses is all you need!!!
I disagree, if the car is going to be raced or seriously trackdayed for extended periods then to avoid ‘submarining’ then a crotch belt is essential IMHO it may not be comfortable , and need correct adjustment , but it does what it says on the can !! No submarining

if belly straps are being pulled up then they are not tight enough, what Podger says is correct but I have 4 points as do many if not most on here, see if you can adjust them before connecting the shoulder straps.
Malcom has some sobering stories about the crotch strap and gonad removal!
The Scroth harness is designed to be anti submarining… Hence the name ASM, anti submarining! If the lap belts are done up correctly and tight enough then that Is fine.
No longer available - just a terse email to me after I ordered a set recently and chased up after 2 months of waiting telling me
“no longer available and I cant comment on anything written on any internet forums”
Something to do with the bolts I beleive having done all the research myself.
Having used MSAR for all the orange car seats and harness I was well pissed with the handling of that …
