Thinking about driving to the south of france even though the french seem to be becoming rather strict on speed. Anyway if I do go I need to decide ferry or euro tunnel and was wondering if there is any problems with clearance getting on and off the ferry or train.
I went from Dover with P&O and back Rotterdam-Hull also with P&O the cars ride height was 120/125mm f/r on the way out and a little less on the way back and had no issues with clearence.
I found the ferry slightly cheaper
Clearance heights for the ferry will depend on whether it’s high or low tide if it’s anything like the ferries I’ve been on, however, never had a grounding problem with a standard ride height Exige S2. I can’t remember exactly but EVO took a trip using Eurotunnel with S2 Exige (Kermit green), I don’t think they mentioned any problems.
