Couple of questions about speedline corse wheels

I need a spare set of lightweight wheels and am looking at all the options.

Regarding the speedlines, what are the dimensions/differences compared to the standard S1 Exige wheels?

Also, do you need to use different wheel nuts with them?

Thanks

The rear offset is slightly different - 3mm from memory.

This means the tyre can just touch the chassis sometimes ( maximum flex) , however most people accept that. The issue with using a 3mm spacer is you potentially lose the centre hub location.

As standard you need Elise wheel nuts ( with a radius ) NOT Exige nuts ( with taper )unless the wheel nut seats have been modified.

Cheers for the info. No good for me then as I want to run 245 rears and with that extra offset it’ll really scrub against the chassis.

You need another set of TMR’s then

No chance as they’re almost 3 grand a set. Looks like I might try and get the ball rolling again with Image.

Didnt pheonix have something sorted with image?

I would love some TMR’s but ot at 3k!!

I have two sets of TMR’s for sale mate.

My car is now off the road for the winter. I am gonna have them reconditioned and they will be available in a few weeks.

I’m also selling my TMR’s. I’ve already got a buyer I think. Sean, what wheels are you going to run then out of interest and what tyre sizes?

I’ve almost sorted my new ones through Image. I’ll put a post up once I finalise everything, in case anyone wants some. I’ll probably be running 245/255 rears and 225 fronts on 9.5" rears and 7.5"/8.0" fronts. Well that’s the plan anyway after sorting scrubbing issues.
