Saw a red S1 Exige on the A322 near Lightwater just off the M3 jnc 3… with the roof off !!! could it have been a motorsport elise ?

A bit too close to me for comfort (not something I’m currently having much of, see coming post). Glad I didn’t see them!
Only reason to have the roof off a S1? Fitting a roll cage.
