My 08 Aspen White Exige is will be picked up next week. I am already thinking of some cosmetic changes.
Lotus have now colour coded the side intakes and rear spoiler. I think they look better in black.
So I will most likely buy the Reverie carbon intakes. Has anyone fitted them and able to give some feedback on them? Look/ease of fitment, quality etc.
I was also looking to change the rear spoiler. I would prefer to keep the OEM look. Is there a carbon version of it available?
On the weight side of things I thought of changing the roof section for a carbon fibre one. The additional benefit of removing weight from high up on car, thus lowering the centre of gravity a little.
The only full carbon roof I have found on the open market is the one at Sector111 in the US.

Is this a wind up,would think you would get more benefit by winding the windows down!
If all you want is to remove the colour coding then I though Lotus would do that as a no cost option?

I have a few Reverie bits and pieces on my car and they are all top quality. The side pods are a good fit, although because they have a slightly larger intake they do change the look of the car slightly.

PB Racing in Italy did a carbon replica of the original. Saw one that had been imported for an elise, before it was sent back. Quality wasn’t up to reverie standards and it was going to take a bit of work to prep it to fit to the car. Just a difficulty with buying from abroad. If you get a problem part from someone local you can always get it sorted, but if its come in are you really going to send it back?

No experience of the roof, but if someone in the UK did one just like that I’d be interested. Alternative in the UK is eliseparts but their scoop isn’t the same as the latest Lotus roofs.
Having taken the roof off my NA S2 several times, I can honestly say it weighs next to nothing and forking out that much would be a total waste of money in my opinion!
I’d go with William (Evo_ufo) I have the same rear wing as him from Reverie, it’s an excellent very well built bit of kit and I’d say the one to go for. If you want std they do something very similar to oem and you can rest assured of its quiality, splitter is good to but requires some work. I have an elise parts carbon roof in my garage which I’ve modified to use proper Lotus door seals (not std) and I had to duct the air through the scoop myself as there’s is open to its entirity note the “in my garage” and not on my car btw. Side scoops I didn’t get, I felt colour coding looked better and too much C/F could look “too much” if you know what I mean I have the diffuser too from Reverie. One the whole the weight saving on these parts is very minimal…manifold, exhaust, wheels & battery are where its at. Down force is better though!
