Hi all,
I have noticed a leak coming from in front of the passanger side rear wheel, it’s dripping just by the Rwd/ Side (under the air intake) jacking point however I think this i just where the coolant is ending up.
It’s an 05 Exige S2. I have had the undertray off but couldn’t see anything from the engine but the space where the pipes goes forward along the side of the car is definitly wet; but I couldn’t see down the sill/ chassis side to see if it was this that was leaking or it’s just where the coolant is collecting.
Are there an known issues with this part of the cooling system?

I’ve just had my rad changed. Seems it’s a ticking bomb on the S2. So long as you can see check the pipes going to the rad and check the clips are tight also. My car is an 05 but I’ve had the ac removed this year and what JSR took off looked pretty disturbing tbh. Changed for Pro-Alloy and fan kit.

The heater resistor went last week, so the front will have to come off at some point anyway… (still deciding if i’ll do this myself)Just wondered if a leaking radiator would make it back to the rear wheel?
Any spots of ‘rain’ on the windscreen when it’s not raining?
May be worth checking your windscreen washer bottle. Mine went last year and that’s exactly where it was dripping from.
No noticable leakage from the front of the car - nothing on the windscreen.
Definitly from the cooling system as I’ve been topping it up.
Also worth checking the expansion bottle they are very prone to failure with age especially around the small inlet tubes
The coolant bottle cracks after age and leaks.
Happened to me last year, they are �70 replacement from Lotus!
