Clutch : OEM or Exedy Stage1??

So the clutch was fooked and since the engine is out we were thinking it would be changed anyway.

So is the best option to stick to OEM or go for Exedy stage1???

For a SC+CC Honda.

What did you do for a clutch in the end Ben? The standard one I took off my car last year when we fitted the sequential gearbox still looked really good after nearly 5 years of hard use. Hardly any full bore standing starts though.

And yes, as above, you have to get the Exedy stage 1’s from the US otherwise you get something different which isn’t as good, even though it’s supposedly the same part.

Seems that there’s been enough people with similar power running fine on OE.

Also, I imported some injectors for the build and it took an age what with dicking around with customs, paying duty . I did not want to be held up with that as it would have to an import of the US version.

Yup I followed your lead and got the same ones. They had the wrong adapters though as mine had been changed over to RC fit ones,…Matt sorted it out though.
