Found this on the internet and was wondering if others here had joined it or whether or not is was worth the �35 a year membership fee? Any views welcome!!

I joined LCI (as its now called) when it first started.
Other than 4 (readable) magazines a year & access to a forum on the factory website, it’s hard to see what the benefits are really. The forum is never that busy (unlike here for example), & dealer discounts etc are no better than some of the independent forums negotiate for themselves. Members don’t even get to be the first to know of any breaking news
One of the strengths of the club was that members could get access to some technical guys at the factory (e.g. Nick Adams), but work pressures mean that this never happens now either. Not much good news then
As I understand it, the website may soon be re-launched, but what that may mean to the Lotus faithful who knows.
I’d say hang on to you money just now, & that comes from an existing member
Ah right thanks, I think I will follow your advice since you have confirmed what I suspected! Im sure I can find something more worth while to spend my money on in that case.
