01 is a more aggressive pad, it is designed with a high initial torque rating and is probably the most popular PF compound however we found that when we disabled the ABS on our cars it did lock the wheels much more easily.
The 97 compound is what we most commonly use, we did the whole Brands Hatch 1000km race on one set of 97 pads. It has less initial bite and better modulation by giving a very flat torque curve but they can be quite dusty.

I think I am using 01 in the front and 97 in the rear, can I tell by looking at the pads?
OrangeD turned my ABS off at Silverstone on a wet TD last year, great wet lines but lock up even on the lightest of touches. PF-01’s btw. Mega in the dry
