Well, back in the UK now!
Looking at my brakes, it’s getting close to the time to replace my Pagid RS42’s all round, esp with 3 TD’s booked over the next 2 months!
Wihout starting a bun fiight, I was thinking about CL’s… Has anyone on here any experience with the Carbon Lorraine RC5+ brake pads please?
Having said that, I have always been very happy with my RS42’s apart from they are quite dusty!
Quite a bit on SELOC but difficult to work thu the BS!!!
Cheers,
Pete.
Hi Pete
I’m running RC5+ and 4 track days in they seem great. On the road they have excellent bite from cold and very little squeal. They get my vote
Another vote for RC5+ as above
You may aswell try them for a change, and make your own mind up, im sure you will rate them.

Another running them, great when cold/hot. A little dust but easy to remove.
My only complaint is they stick to the discs when parked up and wet, then after un-sticking themselves they take a mile or so to come back to full operating IMO.
Neil.
Do they rattle? I can live with squeal it’s the bloody rattling that I find difficult to live with.

Not if you use buffer pads in the calliper and on the back of the pad itself.
Neil.
I’ve put some on the rears and I’m happy with them. Seem just as good as PF’s. Avoid PF’s if you like your wheels.
Recently fitted some - excellento for road use (so far, no squeals or rattles!), but haven’t tried them on track yet.

I’m running them, had them fitted recently, they were quiet as a mouse until I did a trackday now they squeal a little when cold.
