Chuffed to bits....!

Happy birthday Benja :sunglasses:

If your going to get the charger get the Integra DC5 manifold as that’s the one that the charge cooler uses (I think) so if you wanted to add that later you don’t need to buy another manifold.

enjoy the car
The charger will have the DC5 manifold along with high flow injectors, an auxiliary fuel swirl pot and a high flow Bosch fuel pump.

Is there anything else I should consider while the SC is being fitted…?

Just been talking to a mate, and he said that he would always recommend cooling as part of an SC install - for consistency and reliability - less risk of detonation!!

Once you get it on track hopefully you’ll see how much fun they are and why people get the under their skins

If you’re going for the SC I’d say it was probably worth chargecooling it at the same time…
That’s what I am starting to think, but depends on the cost…Aggrrhhhh!!!

To be honest, if it were me I’d leave it NA for a while and do a few trackdays.

A well driven, well set up NA car isn’t that far off an SC car on track and people seem to think its far more involving.

I agree with Dave, try n/a for a year or so (ie 10-15 trackdays) then go s/c.

Also, the DC5 manifold/chargecooling appears to make the induction noise much louder, potentially giving problems on track (eg Donington on Monday evening of this week).

Welcome to the world of Exige ownership :sunglasses:

Did you buy the car in Oxfordshire? If so, I think I know that car

Neal.

Adam’s a top bloke, you’ve got yourself a very nice car there - congratulations!

Neal.

OK, here’s another vote for the VHPD - my recent woes were not, apparently HGF. The trusty ‘K’ is not 'k’nackered.

Also, I’ve had my car 8 years, so there  which is probably too long for it to be ‘original’

BTW, welcome Mark. Nothing wrong with SC honda but it’s not original, just popular because it’s a good modification.

That’s to good to hear…thanks.

Adam is a nice guy - although I am not sure he was convinced he was doing the right thing selling the car… he did change his mind a couple of times…lol! Although once he starts racing I think he’ll be happy.

Cheers matey

Happy birthday Benja

Happy Birthday Benja!

Welcome to the house of fun

If you should ever need a vhpd…

Cheers lads.

Day off today in the sun, kids are in bed and we’re waiting for the baby sitter before going to dinner at a great local restaurant. Spoke to John at JSRacing who’d just finished polishing my car (now that’s what I call service!!) in readiness for me to pick it up tomorrow…it’s all good

Enjoy your “romantic” evening mate, & have a great weekend in the Exige!

PS I hope John has left the wheels for Rory to polish!

Happy Birthday

Hope the wheels will be up to standard

What’s with the “tosser” Rob

What’s with the shaggin, Mark?
