Low Mileage Exige S2 190bhp (2004)
It’s the second Lotus I’ve had, it’s been 100% reliable, just like the first one. It’s a peach of a car and I love it.
I’m only selling as I need to release some cash to fund a new daily runner.
The car is a standard 190 bhp, but has had the following work done / bits added :-
**- Track geometry set up
- Fitted with one-way adjustable Nitron suspension
- ITG forced Induction kit
- A048 tyres front tyres and BRAND NEW Toyo 888’s on the rear
- Lightweight track focused version, with no air-con and no electric windows etc
- Only 13,300 miles
- Soft-top available ( at additional cost )
- 11 months MOT (early Sept )
- Tax until the end of January 2010.**
My car is an ‘04’ registration that was involved in a minor accident which lead to the car a needing minor fibre glass repair, ( I can supply images of the accident damage when viewing ) there was no chassis damaged what so ever and inspections are welcome, as a result the car became a Cat D listed car. The repair was carried out by a Lotus expert who is very well known and respected within the Lotus community and was painted by Stephen M.
The first two services ( 1233 miles & 9682 miles ) were carried out by a Lotus Dealer - Murray Motor Company in Edinburgh.
It’s always garaged and the oil is changed regularly. Mechanically the car has been well looked after, everything that it’s needed, it’s had.
There is some minor stone chipping on the nose, along the off-side sill and on the side pods typical signs with any Exige. There is a small tear in the fabric of the roof (see picture). I never had it repaired as it doesn’t bother me in the slightest - it’s only noticeable when you really look for it. Finally the rear boot lid has a small fibre glass chip ( again see picture ) all of these things are very minor cosmetic issues that can be resolved quickly and will NOT cost a fortune.
In summary - It’s in fantastic overall condition, it’s fitted with some of the highest quality upgraded components and therefore it’s good value for money and ready for someone to enjoy it from day one.
If you think it might be what you’re looking for, the car is priced to sell at 16,995.

It’s been a fantastic car and I’ll be sad to see it go, but I’m 100% certain it won’t be my last Lotus !!
