As I missed the pre-Christmas meet, chaps, I wondered if I could set the ball rolling for our traditional seasonal gathering between Xmas and New Year . . . How about Sunday, Dec 29?. I know Pesky’s away but I hope we can organise a “do” cos I’m getting withdrawal symptoms.
Calling GP_Fisher for his organisational skills . . . Kirkby Lonsdale, or how about Hawes for a drive out and a hope of gathering some of the Nyloc chaps?
Weather depending I would up for a trip across the hills
Yep Im up for this.
Gav
I too am interested
Something like this are you thinking ??
Nah, it’ll be posher than McDonalds
Even Sherman wouldn’t eat there
Sunday 29th might be only day I can’t make
I’m guessing we’re all on holiday (not at work) between Christmas & New Year, so it could be a weekday rather than a Sunday??
Shermans arrangements are flexible too…
That must be the dog’s bollox
Now that you will be out of the country at Christmas Rob, will you roasties still be fluffed before dinner is served?
Dirty buggers, the pair of you!
Well, I’m away over New Year until Thurs Jan 2 so really the Sunday is the only day I can do.
Bit of a bugger that Steve B is unavailable. Thoughts chaps?
Do 2 days, one been a Sunday
Sounds ok thommo I will go with the flow
Right, will give a considered reply when I have sobered up after tonight’s pub quiz! If I remember, that is.
We could have a bite to eat at the Wenslydale Cheese Factory in Hawes Gromit
Is there anymore info on this yet? A few of the lotus owners from the north east might fancy a run over if that’s ok
The more the merrier Adrian be good to see a few of the LONE guys there.
Is there a date / venue yet?
Dont think Thommo has sobered up yet!
Good point, Gavin, well made.
As I mentioned the 29th is the only date I can do, so I hope that those who can’t make that will not be too p***ed off.
For a change, how about meeting in Hawes, which will give the Yorks, North-East contingent less of a drive. Those of us from the west could meet up and drive there for a spot of lunch. (venue to be arranged).
How does that sound?
