It is quite common to change the pulley on a supercharged engine to increase power potential.
Is there a reason on the Toyota unit that people don’t seem to be doing it?

Surely you’d need to remap the ECU too, so that’s probably a reason.
Thats doable
Thats doable
I know.
But it’s not factory approved, so that’s probably the reason why peeps don’t change the pulley, & that was your question
Give Sinclaires a call, they can change it for ya and remap it…
…then you’ll need an injector upgrade as well, and then its getting significantly more expensive than just changing the pulley.
And Chargecooler will be needed,
as will a better Exhaust…
Cue 4k as a rough guide
I have done it, running a 3" pulley, you will need at minimum a remap and bigger injectors, I would also suggest you will need better charge cooling or the ecu will pull the timing too much and you won’t make any more power, also the ecu restricts throttle opening so that will need dealing with. My car is now running around 9psi of boost (post charge cooler) which is as far as I want to go which equates to about 260hp at the wheels ~295hp flywheel.
