Changing a Header tank on a S2 Exige

Hi All
Any tips on changing the header tank on a S2 Exige ??

Clamp the pipes as close as possible to the tank was the advice I was given. However I still manged to make a mess of it regardless but I totally blame a faulty sensor and dodgy MXL.
