Struggling to get the car through its MOT without a Cat. Guess no surprise there, but had been hoping that a little bit of tweaking of the Emerald would have been enough.

Any thoughts? Few years ago think it would have been possible to find somewhere to help out, but difficult now.

Guess I’ll have to have a Cat made, or anyone have any bright ideas on an insert or something that could go in the existing pipework temporarily?

I’ve still got the old original Lotus CAT that fell of the car back at Oulton 4 or 5 years ago. Any chance of fabricating something with the core of that?

Blimey time goes by. Wish I was spending more of it driving the car.

I believe a 200 cell cat is about the minimum required to pass the emissions test.
Otherwise you will have to get ‘inventive’

That would interest me as well, as fitting a “cat” now on my car involves chasing a moggy around and placing it on the roof! Whilst that does give me some valuable exercise it doesn’t help with passing the MOT :frowning:
