Not sure, but if you havent done a trackday yet, Knockhill are also running their Novice trackday schools again this year, I had a few mates go on them last year, they are great value and a great introduction to driving on track, the first one is being held on 1st Feb, cost 55.
I’m in Cowdenbeath! Is your exige silver?

It is indeed, however there are two in Dunfermline, mine and one from the Guy that has the Kart centre at KH (this is in Auto trader at the moment for 17.5k ), you cant realy miss mine as it has two black stripes and a couple of other stickers on it . Is yours the black one I’ve seen around.
Dave
It is, I’ve tried to put it away for the winter but any dry roads and its out…
Thanks for the offer dave, where are you at?
2 miles from Dunfermline and 3miles from Knockhill
poser…Dave
ermmmm poser …
At the novice track day do you use your own car?

Dave
And what about the “I’m Not Uldis” sticker?
At the novice track day do you use your own car?
EH? Of course! otherwise what is the point on having an Exige?
The track is much safer than the roads, at least everybody is going in the same direction (well, most of the time), there is no police, no speedbumps or potholes, and no lamp posts nor trees.
No people nor animals crossing.
Anf you have the best car for the purpose…
At the novice track day do you use your own car?
Yep
Think the format was, classroom, out as a passenger in their cars being shown the lines, classroom, back out in your car following the instructers round, then an open pitlane format for 30-40 mins.
“The track is much safer than the roads”
I’ve never really seen a serious accident in all the trackdays I’ve done at KH, however the first Novice track school event I went to watch, I saw a Scooby stuffed into the tyres and a Focus ST170 wrote off when he rolled the car , I think the problem was toward the end off the session as they gained confidence it out grew their driving ability.

Spot on, Dave. Also, experienced drivers tend to be tiring (apart from Uldis!!!), & I’ve seen loads of “offs” in the last hour of a trackday.
Personally, I now “finish” my own tracktime about 1/2 hour before the official end of the day - I’d rather “waste” 10 or so of tracktime, in the knowledge that me & my car will be leaving the circuit intact. Yep, I’m definately an old fart
70 min stints in a car is not really that tyring.
Try doing it on a bike! (yep, I used to do that! )
What, next you’re going to tell me that sex sessions last less than an hour?
I agree with Dave, overconfidence. Nobody should try to go faster until he’s understood the dynamics of the car. And of course those chaps didn’t.
Sadly typical of Max Power-boy racer’s attitude
Adrenalin rush? try picking a fight in a pub
The track is to be in sync with yur car and learn more and more…

I agree with Rob, and I use that time to get my car back safe and snug on its trailer !!!
“Live to love another day” as they say
next you’re going to tell me that sex sessions last less than an hour
Well I’m not
(Telling, that is… )
What, next you’re going to tell me that sex sessions last less than an hour?
Nah, usually takes at least 2 hours - 119 mins thinking about it, then…
Fitted the cat replacement pipe yesterday, its my first mod and it was good to work on the car and see how its put together. Oh and by the way what a difference!!!
Well done
My favourite (not!) is cleaning the headlamp void and then sealing the glass properly afterwards!!
Cheers Mike, was thinking about the removeable steering wheel also. Had a look through the posts but didnt see any definitive info. Where would be the best place to get the boss kit, with wheel removal tool. And the steering wheel itself?
