We had Vincent, our second cat, he would play fetch for hours with a rolled up crisp packet. I didn’t give Vinny the credit he deserved, died early, run over unfortunately. A cat playing fetch… I have a dog now who does the same thing, he’s relentless
Nice pics Jonny/Gav, and great stuff Gav, really nice stories.
My cat was a stud who’d spent his whole life in a pen (getting laid a lot obviously ). He could not believe it when I adopted him and let him out for the first time, but he came back.
Like Jonny’s cat he was a retriever too, not crisp packets but rubber bands, I’d sit on the couch flicking them for him to bring back. When Jane moved in they both hated each other. She was sitting watching TV and he quite purposefully reversed up to her, raised his tail and pissed on her ,…not good. When I moved a neighbour who adored him persuaded me to leave him in her care. I want another cat now…
Here he is after the arrival of my second boy James :
Well it looks like your concensus is for adoption I actually do like cats and dogs as I grew up with them too. It’s Sue that isn’t the animal lover, maybe the kids will grind her down…‘can we keep it mum, can we?’
Haha yes, there’s something about accumulating wood for the winter that’ ticks some kinda primeval man box
Those things weigh a proper ton. Mine is at the bottom of 8steps outside the door to the basement. It’s a tiny space so i had to assemble all bar the roof at the top and the. I got it down there on my own. I still can’t believe I got it down there!
