Castle Combe - BaT - 6th December :)

Another really well run day by BookaTrack.

Very very wet and slippy in the morning so the 1st session was completely under pace car, which I thought was a very good decision.

I got some instruction after lunch and felt a lot happier than my last vist. I think the Exige can be inbetween gears a bit on that track, so had to experiment a bit there, but the maint thing was I thought I got better lines. Best bit was touching just over 120 past the start finish straight (i’m sure most of you are getting higher than that!) Think I have more room to go there though…

The track itself is one of my favorites, it’s quite fast and quite tricky

So good, you said it twice!

Never driven there, but it looks very bumpy, compared to other circuits.

Last one I did wasn’t a BaT one though!

I was frustrated last time, and wanted to get better at it.

Not perfect but i’m happier

Your braking got a bit later after that Golf went past

Yep it helps to have a target!

Not sure what that Golf had in it, but it was going very well.

Ah, just realised what you meant Mr Pesky

Hadn’t realised i’d pasted it twice. Doh! Thought you meant “twice” as in it’s the second Combe post i’ve done.

You’re in good company here then!
