My S1 Exige with 190 no cat didn’t pass…about 109db, had to buy one of those muffler thing that they sell at Coombe and fit it…�50
Is the track day open to anyone, if so what time, how much, do you need to be a Westover customer? So many questions…only live 20 mins away so would be up for it.

Had a really good day. Weather started of rainy until lunch so very slipery for all the 048 shod cars, standard Elises were faster! Dried out after lunch and really got quite fast. Interestingly the two 240R’s that showed up weren’t that much quicker. I followed my mate in his with the 340R and he couldn’t pull away and as you know my driving is only average. He was actually quite disapointed with his performance but I guess that the power/ weight won’t be that different would it ? There was a yellow MK1 Exige/ Motorsport Elise with a Honda supercharged motor, all stripped out, very very good driver who was about ten seconds a lap faster than anyone else. didn’t get a chance to get his name, don’t know if he is on the site?
Another mate had his new BMW M5 that was just incredibly fast until he stuffed it backwwards into the tyres after the Esses going into Paddock.
About 55 cars there very well organised- good fun.

I found that at Rockingham following a 240R prototype driven by a highly experienced driver - see here .

Although I’ve never found 340Rs particularly quicker than a 190 S1 on track really. Down the driver I think.
