There was a guy on SELOC built one (spt400) had a 400+ Audi motor in it as well.
Oh and Pilbeam hubs etc etc

I believe Lotus still have one full CF motorsport body left.

and they have had it for sale for about 2 years as i nearly had it but changed my mind. It was ment to be something silly like �15000 but they said as its the last one will do it for �8000 to clear.

Yeah! To be fair, what it is, �8k is good value.

8K that could be a good buy depending on the quality and fit and the Carbon lay up process. Its hard to work with so you will definitely be buying many hours labour time. I can vouch for that with the Carbon Fibre items i’ve made in the past.

they did say its so thin that the panels will flex when driving in the wind

yeah I know it’s the one I posted a link to at the start of the thread, think he used the same company in the US to do the carbon work.

Hi Guys,
That’s my carbon Exige in Australia…I am spt400 on seloc, I brought the complete boby from prototype composites and the body is unbelievable all the carbon is layed perfectly.
I didn’t even have to clear coat the carbon it’s raw, just the clear gelcoat…
Hope you liked the video the guy in the passager seat told me to back off he was going to [censored] his pants…Hehehe
I am going to put a bigger turbo on in a couple of weeks to
get over 500whp…
