Much better to spend extra money on a hans if you havn’t got one already. Thats OK to be carbon :slight_smile: Best thing I ever purchased.

Couldn’t agree more, Tony :smiley: I haven’t bought a Hans yet, but I do know that I really ought to. Think I’ll ask the family to contribute to one for my birthday later in the year.

On a more serious note there are 2 opposing views on helmet construction - hard or soft shell construction. Well worth thinking about. In a car it’s slightly less of an issue but still worth reading up on.

Personally I’d put HANS before carbon on decision criteria.

Shape (to fit in without rubbing cage/roof) and comfort are always first, with HANS now part of the trinity, for me.

I’ve got a Bell carbon helmet with G. Villeneuve graphics-Only cost �500.Graphics extra.For my bikes I would only wear an Arai.
