We have the opportunity to attend a subsidised event organised by the Lloyd’s Motor Club. These club members have failed to respond to fill this event, god knows why, which is just right for us. Their loss is our gain. Sunday 3rd August – Classic Team Lotus tour with Chris Dinnage. Chris Dinnage is the CTL Team manager, and was previously Ayrton Senna’s personal racing engineer at Camel Lotus F1. Chris will conduct the tour during the morning, and Attendees are encouraged to move onto the Tibenham Airshow on the same day, where some of the cars seen will be doing runway demos. Cost for the tour is £20 (Chris is doing this for free, but has asked for a donation to the late Sarah Chapman’s charity ‘Care at Home’). Strictly limited to 20 places. Advance tickets for the air show can be purchased for £10 (book via http://airshow2014.norfolkglidingclub.com/ ), or £15 on the gate. If anyone wants to feel special, we have the opportunity of VIP tickets for £40 including special parking, seating, lunch and refreshments (contact me if interested).
