Can you fit S2 type wheels on an S1 Exige?

I think there are slightly different fitments between the S1 and S2 is there a way to fit them?

Spacers?
Why don’t you go for S160 wheels?

Nice but need some slightly bigger wheels for brakes etc. I have some cunning plans

There’s hub adaptors you can buy from Eliseparts…

Would have thought some light S2 Exige Cup wheels would look good on an S1. That’s what I’ve been planning at least !

Is the Elise to run along side the car you were going to replace the Exige with?

The Elise will become the replacement with time but you never know…
I have great plans for her

It looks like a nice little Elise though .

Would it be terribly rude to ask how much you paid; I mean I know it was up for just under 8k, but I reckon anything nearer 7.5k would be an absolute bargain…

PS. This is what Junks said about S2 wheels on another thread:

I know Wayne at Pro Alloy had S2 wheels on his S1 Elise with Geary’s adapters - he hasn’t now, they are about 160 for a set I think, machining new hubs would be about 400

Dunno if that helps…

Cheers I was able to knock him down a bit so i would say a bargin

I have run S2 wheels on my S1 with the hub adaptors and it was fine on both the road and the track, no loss of handeling…if anything slightly better rear end grip as the adaptors also space the wheels out slightly. (approx 12-14mm) Gives a much more agressive full arch look to the rear of the car…

If you want any picks send me your email address and i will send some picks…

Hi, can you please e-mail me some pics to office at dko.ch ? Aren’t the S1 wheels a little bit wider than S2 wheels? (front S1 7.0/S2 6.5 and rear S1 8.5/S2 7.5) or is it just the OZ wheels? Who else tried other wheels on an Exige S1 (and which brand/type/size)?

Thanks!
