Has anyone used a camera mount that they are happy with ?
I would like a suction cup type for use on the windscreen of an S1. Also, has anyone actually managed to film in HD (preferrably 720P or 1080P), if so what camera were you using, price, etc ?
DSE, the best mounts that everyone sems to rave about are the Hague mounts, there is someone on seloc that does them and others, also good and more reasonable priced. I just use to use a cheap clamp on my harness bar or a home made pikey one using half of a glasers suction handle thing.

I have just contacted Hague and asked them for their advise regarding my Lumix camera. I tried the ‘pikey’ method at Oulton and the result was not good.
have you considered mounting it to the rear glass between the seats? With a wide enough camera lens angle you will get steering input and gear changes in the shot, which can make it more interesting than just the shot through the windscreen?
A bullet camera may be the easiest way to get the widest of angles?
I have a Sony dcr hc40e which I used with a bullet cam (if any one is interested in buying it and the bullet cam, make me an offer). The image quality was ok but my latest camera records in HD which is awesome. Just need the mount now. I was looking at the exact mount above Steve, looks the boll@cks.
