I’m about to change the belt on my Exige and before I start i’d like to know if there’s anything to watch out for! I’m also going to be fitting the Piper pullys and have never set these up before, can anyone tell me the exact procedure? Are there any other mods worth doing while it’s all in bits?
Belt tension. Don’t go too tight.
Sett ing the cam timing can be tricky. I have a detailed procedure which explains how to mark the verniers, fit them in a safe static position and then dial in the cam timing correctly. If you would like a copy send me a mail.
