Called in at Anglesey last Sunday

Russ, JohnO & myself called in at the circuit, whilst in the area. The new layout looks fantastic (only the original start/finish straight remains the same), & incredible progress has been made since work began last October.

There will 4 different layouts, & the “Coastal” & “International” will be spectacular, not only from a driver/spectator viewpoint, but also from a televisual aspect too. Let’s hope they get BritGt/BTCC/F3 races there

Might look nice Pesky but you try walking around it putting bloody microphones everywhere…thank goodness its not a BTCC circuit for this year!

Looks fantastic!

I can just imaging how it will feel to go on the back straight towards the sea and turn right, feeling so close to the water. If the turn right at the previous main straight felt like something, this one will feel even more!

Looks really good from the computer images, as you mention that track will be a real joy to drive…
Are they improving/updating the off track areas as well like the meeting, waiting and dinner hall ?

Proper garages etc etc will of course be built, but that’s Stage 2 after the track itself is sorted. Will hopefully get some more detail from Richard at the Autosport Show on Friday.

Got a few “flyers” from Richard Peacock (Anglesey Circuitmeister) at the Autosport Show today - will leave one for Pesky minor to give when you pick him him for golf tomorrow. I won’t be here, cos I’m meeting Kneivel77 (aka Bertone) at the Reebok, as he’s working on the match broadcast.
