Wonder whether anybody knows how to decipher the gearbox serial number from the following picture?
The picture is not that clear, but that is all I have to go on. Any help will be much apprreciated.
What are you trying to understand from the information?
As noted above “gearbox serial number”.
I think we are talking cross purposes here, from the serial number what information are you hoping to get? Gear ratios, LSD, final drive? Is it original to the car?
Ah, yes, just wish to know the serial number. I have the VIN and Engine Number, but not that of the gearbox. Still waiting for the Certificate of Provenance from Lotus Archives, and when I do get it, I would like to cross-check.
