lookin round for a good oil to water cooler this week.
what would everyone recomend?
also how should i judge on what size?
can anyone see a problem with fittin one along with a remote filter for easy access?
also whilst on the conversation of cooling… water swirl pot? and what about twin fans on new upgraded alloy rad? and who would bother with a dash board override switch for fans?
in the engine bay who would get rid of the rear screen and have an alloy (bulkhead) cover which would look very pretty and tidy, or would you go for normal height and keep the window?
ive just put an alloy bulk head in mine not just because it looks pretty but to mount an intercooler on. ( although i think it does look good ). some people ive spoke to think it wont work being above the engine but its got to get quite a bit of air through the roof vent and work ok hopefully anyway.
It’s a mammoth job to do it properly, & you’ve got to think about what to with all the stuff mounted on the cabin side of the original bulkhead. It’s only really suitable for a racecar, not a roadcar.

it is quite a job but i had to do it for what i wanted to do. i didnt mind the hard work though as i think it looks a lot tidier and shinier now lol. as pesky said theres the speakers the other side of the bulk head which i didnt bother putting back in just replaced the radio with gauges as im not too bothered about the radio anyway.
