Well, my luck has finally ran out. Some useless tw@t pulled out from a junction right into the rear wheel & clam of my pride ‘n’ joy
Damage seems to be limited to a split in the clam, but i’m not sure how hard a whack the wheel took & if the geometry has been affected.
All this in what’s promising to be a busy Lotus month too
Maybe if the geo is ok i can drive it a while longer before it has to be fixed.
I’ll try to post a pic or two tomorrow from work, the home PC is a bit fooked

Maybe those Double adjustable Nitrons, racing rear alloy belled AP brakes and adjustable toe link kit was also dammaged…If you know what i mean!!
Gutted for you, maybe you can get those stone chips removed at the same time, some way of a positive out of a negative…

You should have no trouble getting a new clam …provided they are an “in stock” item.

Sorry to hear that Tim. Deffo push for a new clam. You didn’t have a damaged-repaired one on before so why should you now. That was my argument. Also, dont accept the courtesy car they offer you, get one via a specialist accident managment firm, at least you’ll get something remotely sporty. I had a new Scooby WRX for a few weeks which although a bit harse at first grew on me! Russ T may be along in a minute to help.
