Turns out, the Sun Inn is closed for a New Year wash&brush up but the location, the car park, remains the same.
I have checked out the Queen’s Head nearby. There is a table available for 14 but if we want to secure it they require a non-refundable £5 per head deposit. I am happy to provide that up front but I will need to know definite attendees early tomorrow to secure table. Hope that’s ok.

We’re booked in at the Queen’s Head for lunch at 1pm. It’s on the High Street, a short walk from where we are gathering on the main car park. The car park is opposite the Hawkshead Tourist Information Centre…
