Brooke Kensington

Hi Guys,
Can someone confirm that Brooke Kensington are official Lotus dealers? I am seriously considering buying an Exige (used to own an S2 Elise).
Thanks, Scott

I don’t think so, they’re far too good to be tarred with that brush !

…No they are not. They do a very nice Honda conversion though

No Brooke Kensington are not official Lotus Dealers. They are very good independent dealers.

Simon Scott-Russell runs the workshop and the standard of his work, attention to detail and general customer care are as good as any of the other highly regarded independents.

Jack Davis runs the car trading side and regularly buys in cars (ex - press cars or whatever) direct from Lotus. They specialise in exporting to the Far East too. This is how they are so well connected in obtaining JDM Honda engines for conversions.

All in all, good guys, but no official connection to the factory.

I’ve only had routine servicing / mods done by them for the past few years, but would have no qualms in buying a car from them.

Thanks guys, you have confirmed what I had thought. The obvious question then; if I were to buy a car from BK and have it serviced by them (makes sense given that I live near Oxford), will the resale value remain the same aa if I had gone through an ‘official’ dealership?
Many thanks again.
Scott

Answer, must be yes!
