Not sure what to do with my existing once its out of the car…
The box has around 30k miles with the factory fitted LSD, but has a broken 3rd gear (due to the power). The box works fine, albeit no drive in 3rd and the syncro between 3-2 could do with replacing.
I was going to get the box fully rebuilt, then look at selling it as a refubushed box but it might be useful in it current state to somebody whos wanting to upgrade to the Jubu gearset. Question is what it worth and would anybody be interested, or shall I just get it rebuilt with the standard gearset?

I have similar sitting at home, but without the LSD, I spoke to a lot of people about reusing it initially and the opinion was that all the bearing would need replacing due to the metal fragments running around the gearbox. Based on this I would say it would be worth about 300 plus the LSD so about 5-600 as is.
300 for a broken gearbox full of swarf? I may be wrong but i thought you could pick up an undamaged box from a Celicia for that with a sensible 6th gear ratio Thats what il be looking for when the crunch time comes.then rebuild it with some Jubu internals.Maybe im in cuckoo land
I can get the box rebuilt with the Jubu gear set… Question is, what would it be worth then - 1,200 for a freshly rebuilt lsd box + 800 for the jubu gears and your look at around 2k. Is anyone really going to pay 2k for an uprated C64 box??
